Hey there! I’m Coach Colin
As a Women’s Fitness Specialist, I help busy women over 35 create a foundation of sustainable and holistic training habits, so they can gain clarity on how to design a thriving, strong and happy life, on their terms.
Women over 35 aren’t being served by the fitness industry.
You might be wondering “Colin, how did you end up working with 35+ women?”
It’s a question I get a lot.
It all started as I watched my wife Chelsea navigate perimenopause. Things were shifting for her and I started looking for ways that I could support her as her body was changing.
I also realized that many of my clients were struggling with the exact same things - weight gain around the midsection, the stress of career, entrepreneurship and family, and changing hormones. And that’s when I did a deep dive into the nuances of training, nutrition and stress management for women over 35.
During peri-menopause, women’s bodies are changing dramatically. And yet nobody’s talking about this…
What worked for women in their 20’s isn’t going to work when you are 35, 40 or 50. What works for your body during one phase of your cycle, won’t work during another. By understanding that these changes to your physiology are actually a superpower, we can learn to value and support your body, instead of seeing these shifts as something that needs to be “fixed.”
We need a holistic approach to fitness.
Health isn’t simply based on your physical body. Our approach to fitness must include all of us and take into account mindset, emotional and spiritual well-being, as well as the physical body. Stress, hormones, gut health, sleep and the chaos of day-to-day life all affect our health, not just how many hours we log in the gym. Women over 35 need different fitness support that addresses the complexities of their whole being and lifestyle.
Most fitness programs are designed for men.
Women are not tiny, weaker men. But that’s how they are treated by diet and fitness culture. Women deserve cutting-edge information that is designed to support their training and wellness journey. They deserve individualized support to achieve their specific goals in a way that feels good and is fuelled by a place of love instead of self-criticism.
The reality is that women are strong AF.

Phase 3: Compound
With the vessel you have built through phases 1 and 2 you'll now have more flexibility and luxury than ever.
Because we have increased your base metabolism, you'll now be able to achieve body recomposition even easier WITHOUT starving yourself, avoiding all the foods you love or eating separately to your family. WITHOUT spending hours on end in the gym or seeing exercise as a chore. This is the holy grail of embodied strength, energy, and confidence that so few women ever reach because they didn't build any foundations, habits or a strong vessel..
Phase 2: Build
Now that you have solid foundations and habits in place and have started to see results, our focus is for you to build as much muscle and strength as possible so your metabolism actually does the work for you long term. (You will NOT get 'bulky'! you'll develop a toned, athletic vessel over time)
The more we can build your metabolism, the better outcomes you’ll get in health and body composition with training AND while resting. This is the secret to making results highly sustainable: building a Strong, Fit, and Energized Vessel that works FOR YOU instead of against you. Phase 2 is where we build your vessel and continue to see results.

Over the course of 12 weeks, we explore these 4 aspects of your physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual well-being.
As you probably noticed, every part is intimately connected with one another. In my traditional Indigenous teachings (yes, I am Cree, Métis-Anishinaabe, and Oneida!)- there is no separation of parts.

Phase 1: Ignite
Phase 1 is all about implementing the habits and routines that are going to set you up for success, not only within this program, but for the rest of your life.
We'll customize your strength training program and help you begin integrating these sessions into your life in a sustainable way (maximum 3 hours per week training).
You'll start with eating and fuelling ENOUGH. We do this instead of restricting your diet to ensure you are fuelling to feel PRIME. Phase 1 is about implementing simple habits, starting to see results and building momentum and belief.
Nothing builds momentum and belief quite like actually seeing the strength, energy and confidence sky rocketing.

I know how challenging it can be when you feel uncomfortable in your body or feel shame about your health and wellness.
Many people assume that I've been an athlete my whole life, but that's not the case at all. In high school, I was a geeky kid, full of insecurities about myself and my body. But then I discovered the fitness world and I found a place of belonging. I started lifting weights and I gained confidence and started putting myself out there more.
I love the fitness industry. But it saddens me how much of it is influenced by the patriarchy.
As I was growing up, I watched my mom - she is a Cree Elder, Activist and Healer in the community. My Kokum (Grandmother) was a Residential School Survivor and I grew up hearing stories about how misogynistic and patriarchal our society was/is. My mom really fought for equality for Indigenous women and is a huge inspiration in my life.
My desire to do my part and support underserved women has only grown over the years. I wanted to do something of value to support women and help them rediscover their strength, energy and confidence by leveraging sustainable habits of health.
When women are healthy, they can create change in the world. They have the energy and confidence to use their voice, offer valuable solutions and create new realities in their workplaces, families and communities.
